Dr. Ruben Valdes DC founded The Thyroid Place, to create a clinical home for women dealing with Low Thyroid and finding no relief through conventional care. Dr. Valdes got to see from direct experience the devastation that low thyroid produces in individuals and in families. Growing up in a home where multiple family members dealt with this disorder and received the conventional model of care to “manage” it, he quickly realized that this issue was very poorly understood and that as a result patients and their families suffered immensely.
